Marc Overmars, RAFC Director of Football Affairs, announced this week the signing of super talent George Ilenikhena. The 16-year old French-Nigerian centre-forward has signed a four-year contract, coming over from the French second division team Amiens, to further strengthen the offensive line together with Vincent Janssen. Welcome George! ๐ต๐ช
“Long Live the Great Old!” We are excited to share that ASC UK has been mentioned in a thrilling article by one of Belgium’s leading newspapers: Gazet Van Antwerpen.
Seeing our English supporters club highlighted in such a prominent publication is a true honour, and it showcases the impact and significance of Royal Antwerp FC within the larger football community.
This recognition provides us with a unique opportunity to reach an even wider audience and spread our enthusiasm for RAFC. It is a chance to inspire others to join us on this incredible journey and foster an even stronger bond among our existing and future members.
Thank you once again for your red-and-white commitment and for making our Antwerp Supporters Club truly exceptional!
The Grote Markt in Antwerp filled with thousands on Monday evening for Antwerp’s Trophy Tour as national champion and cup winner. After a boat trip on The Scheldt river, the players were driven in an open bus to the town hall where they also appeared on the balcony.
Completely in line with the tradition, RAFC’s passionate fans created an unseen atmosphere with unforgettable moments and goosebump scenes.
In his first season with Antwerp, Mark Van Bommel has won an historical Double, so it is no surprise that he was voted Coach of the Year 2022/2023. Congratulations to our coach and up to the next season! ๐ต๐ช๐ต๐ช

An insane end to a magnificent season. We got THE DOUBLE ๐๐!! After the Belgian Cup last month, Royal Antwerp are the 2022/2023 Champions. In a pure Hollywood scenario – down 2-1 in the 94th minute – Toby Alderweireld scored the liberating 2-2: Champions League here we come!
Arthur Vermeeren was voted Pro League ‘Talent of the Season’ by his fellow colleagues in the top-league of Belgian football!
Vermeeren has also been shortlisted for this season’s Golden Boy award, presented by Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport. He is also on the wish list of the biggest football teams from the most important leagues in Europe. As Antwerp supporters, however, we hope to be able to admire Arthur for a few more seasons with our red and white boys! Congratulations Arthur, keep it up! ๐ต๐ช๐ต๐ช
